All of us at Harelick Dental mourn the loss of those who were taken and injured in the horrific Boston Marathon Tragedy. Our hearts, prayers and deepest condolences go out to their families and friends. Our tremendous gratitude and appreciation is extended to the thousands of professionals and volunteers who made us so proud to be from this wonderful state. Every year we celebrate the glorious Boston Marathon. Last year, Dr. Scott Harelick was proud to assist in pushing a severely disabled young man to the finish line in a wheel chair. Dr. Scott looks forward to showing his solidarity and support to Boston by pledging to run in next year’s marathon. We are so devastated for the victims, at the same time we are so very grateful that we were all safe, especially considering that our youngest 11 month old Harelick (Dr. Robert’s Granddaughter and Dr. Natalie & Scott’s niece) was busy laughing and waving “bye bye” to the runners less than 700 yards from where the 2nd bomb exploded.
In addition to our donation to the Patriots’ Boston Marathon Fund*, we would like to do something to directly help the victims and offer our dental services for free to any victim who suffered injuries to their mouth. We have contacted the 5 Boston hospitals, but encourage everyone to get the word out. Please tell everyone you know that if they know of someone who needs their teeth restored due to this tragedy, to get in touch with our office by calling 508-993-0515 or online. Hopefully, we can do our small part in helping to begin the healing process by putting a smile back on the victims’ faces.
We’d like to wish you and yours a wonderful, safe and fun spring & summer.
All the best,
Drs. Robert, Scott & Natalie Harelick
