Dr. Robert Harelick, D.M.D., F.A.G.D.
Dr. Harelick has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and a
degree in Dental Medicine from Tufts Dental School. His practice centers on
preventive and cosmetic dental care. Dr. Harelick is a member of the American
Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. He is involved with
dental study clubs along with holding many other dental affiliations at the
local and national level. He has also held many positions in these
organizations, including President of the Greater New Bedford Dental Society.
Dr. Harelick is proud that he had been selected by Clinical Research Associates (CRA) to be a clinical field evaluator. These volunteer positions are limited to 400 dentists located throughout the world. CRA is a well respected non-profit organization. Its mission is to provide information, education and practical data for dentists about new and improved dental materials, devices and techniques--so they may better serve their patients.
He has earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.). The F.A.G.D. is an honor bestowed upon dentists who have completed a significant amount of advanced dental education over a course of five years, as well as demonstrating proficiency through a series of exams. Dr. Harelick is also proud of the affiliation he has had with the American Academy of Cosmetic dentistry.
He believes that, with advances in dental techniques, people should be able to keep their natural teeth for a lifetime. His goal is to work with you to attain this. He looks forward to talking with you about working together to enhance your oral health and the beauty of your smile.
Outside the office, Dr. Harelick enjoys skiing, playing golf and tennis. His favorite time is that spent with his wife, Leslea (the author of Decorating on a Mini-Budget), and their two sons, David and Scott.
